Ballet School FILIÁNEK invites you to
The 10th year of International Ballet Competition
for children and youth
„NA ŠPIČKÁCH“ BRNO 2025
The competition will be held in the Hall Rotunda in Brnenske Vystaviste, Brno, on the 11th and 13th of April 2025.
The ballet Competition called “Na špičkách” (On Tiptoes/On Pointe) was founded in 2015 with the intention of expanding the competitive activity of young non-professional dancers in classical dance as well as modern. During the four successful years we offered to present and compare the level of their skills to more than 1000 dancers of non-professional ballet schools and amateur ensembles from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria.
We decided to extend the possibility to participate also for students of dance conservatories and dance schools with accreditation for the professional dance artists in three age categories and six subcategories.
CATEGORIES
Participants are divided into categories based on the age at the date of the contest. For the duets, trio and groups it is based on the non-rounded average age of both contestants at the date of the contest.
Competitors of dance conservatories and dance schools accredited for professional dance artists are likely to compete on Sundays.
The organiser reserves the right to change the schedule of the competition or merge the categories depending on the number of participants.
